The Design for Asia Award is presented to companies and designers from around the world that have achieved business success through good design that reflects, or has an impact on, the Asian lifestyle. ]]> http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/12/design_for_asia_awards.html http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/12/design_for_asia_awards.html Awards Fri, 04 Dec 2009 18:44:13 +0900 オランダで行われるThe Great Indoors Awardにて、 NOSIGNERのTECHTILE Exhibitionが 「Show & Sell（商業空間＋展示会場）部門」のBest5にノミネートされました。 受賞者は本日１１月２８日の晩にアナウンスされ、いまマーストリヒトに来ています。 同部門のノミネートは、以下の５作品。 うちの弱小オフィスが、数百人規模のOMAやJurgen Mayerと並んでいる。 これはなかなかすごい事です。 間違いなく言えるのは、 TECHTILEはこの中で最も悪条件からスタートした設計だということ。 コストで言えば、おそらくOMAのPRADAの１０００分の１以下。 そしてもう一つは、どうやら最年少だということ。 それが吉と出るか凶と出るか。 いずれにしても、まっすぐ評価してくれる事を切に祈ります。 TECHTILE Exhibition space design was nominated in the best 5 in 'Show & Sell' category of The Great Indoors Award in Netherland. This Year's nominees are OMA, Jurgen Meyer, Guise, Panorama, and NOSIGNER. Their works are below. Today, they will announce which work is the winner of this year And I am now in Maastricht. I can say TECHTILE Exhibition is the work which solves the most difficult situations. I estimate the construction cost of OMA's PRADA will be 1000 times higher than TECHTILE. Designers : Keiji Ashizawa Inoda + Sveje IN Design Gaku Otomo Izumi Okayasu Mikiya Kobayashi Hironao Tsuboi Naoki Terada TRAF Drill Design Point / Ben Nagaoka Ryuji Nakamura Hajime Narukawa NOSIGNER Jun Hashimoto Taiji Fujimori MILE Leif. design park Teruhiro Yanagihara http://www.superprototype.net/]]> http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/11/prototype_03.html http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/11/prototype_03.html Tue, 10 Nov 2009 21:47:35 +0900 竹中工務店の設計した「育伸社」という学習塾のサイン計画をしました。 モチーフは「定規」。 定規は究極のサインデザインかもしれません。 というわけで、詳しい事は竹中工務店の社内報のために書いた文章をどうぞ。 ・・・ブログが手抜き？ いやいや、そんなことない。 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 育伸社という学習塾のサイン計画は、 「Urban Furniture（都市の家具）を作りたい。」という 大石さんの問いかけから始まった。 都市的なスケールよりも、人に近いスケールから建築を作りたいという考えは、 現在の建築に対して私自身が感じている問題点と重なり、 ワクワクするような有意義なプロジェクトになる事を想像させた。 私は今回のサイン計画に当たって、 「ヒューマンスケール」「教育」「サインデザインの原点」の ３つの条件を設定した。 言い換えれば、「Urban Furniture」を満たす人間的なスケールの計画であり、 学習塾にふさわしい教育的要素を備えており、 かつ「サインデザイン」の歴史にとって意味ある根源的なデザインを目指したのである。 数々のスタディを経て、最終的にたどり着いたのは 「定規（スケール）」というモチーフだった。 サインのために空間に定規の目盛りを振っていくと、 巨大な建築であっても、スケーラブルな物としての実感が生まれる。 また生徒が様々な単位の目盛りに触れる事で、 無意識にスケール感を養える教育的なサインを作る事ができる。 そして「定規」は、あらゆる物に指標を与えていく、 それ自体が究極のサインだと言えるのではないか。 「定規」は、これ以上を想像し難い最高のモチーフであった。 「育伸社」は、「育て、伸びる社」と書く。 このビルが都市と人のスケールをつなぐ、 「生徒の成長を計るものさし」として永く愛されることを祈っている。 ]]> http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/11/post_54.html http://www.nosigner.com/blog/2009/11/post_54.html Space Tue, 10 Nov 2009 15:44:21 +0900 NY ADC Young Guns7を受賞しました! ニューヨーク・アート・ディレクターズ・クラブ（ADC）が主催する、 若手クリエイターの世界的登竜門であるコンペティション 「ADC YOUNG GUNS 7」は、世界で活躍する30歳以下の 優れたアートディレクターに与えられる賞です。 日本人では、歴代７人目の受賞となりました。 NY ADCホームページにて、NOSIGNERインフォメーションがアップされています。 I feel very fortunate to be one of the winners of NY ADC Young Guns7. Together, Tokushima Wood & Bamboo Industrial Cooperative Society Confederation and NOSIGNER announced their new wood furniture brand "AWA" at DESIGNTIDE TOKYO 2009. When Tokushima was once called the country of Awa, the tradition of wood furniture was initiated by ship builders. Thus, AWA decided to go back to its Tokushima woodworking roots to form this new and yet traditional project to bring Japan's wood working culture into the future.
