全国10カ所以上の百貨店、
大型商業施設に設置する特別販売スペースを活用し、
地域産品の販路拡大を支援する経済産業省の事業、
「socococo」のアートディレクションおよびネーミングを手がけました。

socococo事業は、日本全国の産地が誇るすばらしい商品を
全国にお披露目する機会を設け、百貨店や小売店への販売経路を広げて
消費者へ魅力ある地域産品を届けるためにスタートした事業です。

「socococo」とは、「其処此処」。
「あちこち」や「いたるところ」という意味です。
八百万の神や森羅万象を表す言葉であると同時に、
日本のそこかしこにある地域産品を表す言葉として、
今回のネーミングに採用しました。

ロゴのデザインは、
たくさんの日本を集めて大きな日本を作る、
というコンセプトをそのまま形にしました。

徐々に全国の百貨店での店舗がスタートしており、
街中でも、そこここで広告を目にするようになりました。
東京だと日本橋高島屋、銀座三越、プランタンなどでの開催が予定されています。

socococo

I undertook an art direction and naming concept for "socococo".
socococo is a project that the ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry conducted to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
They utilize the SME with a shop space to distribute their goods in an environment with well established commercial facilities.
The purpose of the project is to introduce the products to a wider range of customers and therefore to extend the distribution.
For the SME it is an opportunity to get supported and to connect with commercial facilities.

For the design of the Logo I interpreted the meaning of the name "socococo".
The Logo assembles many dots which are referring to the divers origin of the products.

"socococo" means everywhere, in other words 'the Universe' and 'god of myriads'.
Expressive products are everywhere to be found in Japan.
Therefore I chose this name to express the divers origin of the products.

More and more shops open up and the advertisement is to be seen all around Tokyo.
