Design & Environment @ Marunouchi House (Design Tide Extention)

The exhibition focused on the environment design will hold at Marunouchi House,
the restaurant floor of New Marunouchi Building just in front of Tokyo Station.

nosigner and 3 other designers will exhibit there.

DELUXE? 展 (Design Tide Extention)

The 'Deluxe ?' exhibition will hold at gallery egg.
This exhibition is curated by Design Luxe.
4 young Japanese designers and 4 young designers from other countries will exhibit the
'Deluxe' products with the material of air packing.

nosigner will release the new work 'Asterism' which is a transforming lighting.

Asterism-1
2008

By using the regular grid of equilateral triangles in Putiputi,
I tried to make a beautiful object with assembled equilateral triangles.

"Asterism-1" is the transformable lighting object which is applied
the principles of 'Tetrahedra' and 'Kaleido Scope'.

This star shaped lighting has 10 consecutive regular tetrahedrons.
By the behavior of Tetrahedra,which is the geometrical rules of these
tetrahedrons,
you can twist them inwards or outwards while they show different side of
each tetrahedron.
Also, you can change the strength and directions of lights continuously
with this behavior.

There are 3 mirrors in each tetrahedron.
These mirrors make the 3 dimensional sceneries within them and they add special effect to the lights.
You will see the new lighting scenery like Buddhism mandala.

I hope you will enjoy the various star constellations of Asterism-1at night under twinkling stars.

PROTOTYPE02 Exhibition
10/30-11/3

PROTOTYPE02 exhibition will hold at gallery Gotanda Sonic.
30 young Japanese designers(!) will show their prototypes.

nosigner will show prototypes of the leaf shaped place mat 'A leaf x 10.0'.
There will be 12 colors of hot stamp samples of the place mat which includes
9 colors which is not on sale.

This is the best flea market of young designers in the world.
You can buy design products from designers directly.
