日本には古くから葉の上でご飯を食べる風習があります。
思えば、人類にとって最初の食器は、「葉」だったに違いありません。
葉の上でご飯を食べる時、何故か気持ちがいいと思うのは、
人間の古い記憶がそうさせるのでしょうか。

このランチョンマットは、５cm程度のある小さな葉を１０倍の大きさに拡大し、
緻密な葉脈を丁寧に写し取った物です。
非常に小さな自然の中にある、驚くほど豊かな構造を
お食事とともに味わっていただければと思います。

In Japan,there was a custom to eat a meal on a leaf from a long time ago.
I wonder if leaves are the first table ware for mankinds.
We may have primitive memory about the leaf table ware.
I think that's why we feel comfort when we eat on a leaf.

This leaf shaped place mat is the 10 times expansion of a little leaf structure.
I carefully traced the lines of leaf vein in a very small leaf.
Please go through the dinner with the precise structure in a small nature.
