Campus in Miniature
2008

This is the project for the open house of The University of Tokyo Research Campus, the highest research institution of Japan. The aim of the project is the publication and finding business partners.

For this project, we made the 60m's long map of the campus building on the ground as for both their exhibition spaces and the sign information. The map contains small showcases of laboratories and shows the elements of researches with their actual places. This map works with the handy map and you can easily get to the laboratories.
This map is the real miniature of the campus.

「キャンパスの縮図」2008

東京大学の駒場オープンキャンパスで研究されている最先端の研究を、企業や一般の方々に公開し、研究所のPRや共同研究に繋げるためのキャンパス公開の計画。建物のピロティに、長さ60mに及ぶ巨大なキャンパスの地図を描き、地図上の場所にある研究室の研究内容の一部を50cm×50cmのショーケースに閉じこめて展示した。内容は配布される地図と連動しており、来場者は手元の地図と巨大な地図をたよりに、実際に研究室を訪れて詳細を聞くことが出来る。
また、誘導のためのサイン計画にも工夫があり、影によって自立する矢印がキャンパス中に配置された。
